Financial advice
At one time or another almost all of us take financial advice. Even then our problems may not be over. Much financial advice is poor quality, is too narrow, and only addresses the questions you raise but fails to see the bigger picture.
For example if you ask for advice on investing tax efficiently into an ISA you will probably get it. What you don‘t get however, is a view on whether you would be better off putting your money into your pension plan or reducing your mortgage borrowings. In many cases you may not know what to ask, or what alternative opportunities are available to you.
